DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2009 with the primary objective of imparting quality education and training in the various areas of Electronics and Communication, thereby Molding the students into competent professionals. The department now conducts one undergraduate program and one postgraduate program (M. Tech in Communication Engineering) with affiliation to KTU. The curriculum is organized such that it enables the students to get a strong foundation on various aspects of electronics and communication engineering such as digital systems design, electromagnetic theory, digital signal processing, microprocessors and microcontrollers, electronic circuits, VLSI design, digital communication, analog communication, control engineering, and microwave engineering. While building a solid foundation of the fundamentals, the students are also exposed to emerging trends in the industry and are molded to be quality professionals of the future. In order to keep the students updated about the latest technologies and inventions in this domain, various seminars, workshops, invited talks, project presentations, etc. are arranged by the department.
