Proud Achievement of IIET Students at National-Level Hackathon

We are delighted to share that a team of Second-Year CSE students from Indira Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology has brought pride to our institution through their commendable performance at a National-Level Hackathon conducted at IES College of Engineering, Chittilappilly, Kerala.

The hackathon witnessed participation from around 300 teams, out of which only 40 teams were shortlisted for the subsequent stages. We are extremely proud to announce that our team was among the 🌟 TOP 40 TEAMS OUT OF APPROXIMATELY 300 PARTICIPATING TEAMS 🌟and successfully advanced up to the Third Level of the competition .

The team presented “ GreenTrack AI ”, an innovative AI-powered platform that helps individuals understand and reduce the environmental impact of their daily activities. The platform focuses on areas such as travel, electricity consumption, food habits, and plastic usage, providing personalized suggestions to promote sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

Their achievement reflects their technical expertise, creativity, teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking. Being selected among the top 40 teams from approximately 300 participating teams is indeed a remarkable accomplishment and a moment of pride for Indira Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology. 👏
